Explore the care available at Dentima. Your dentist will discuss your treatment plan with you based on your examination and individual needs.

Treatment with Entonox

Entonox is a mixture of oxygen and nitrous oxide that can be used during dental treatment. You can discuss this option with our dentist, particularly if you feel anxious about visiting the practice.

Your dentist assesses its suitability and the treatment process individually. We will explain the procedure and the instructions to follow before and after treatment.

Preventive care

Regular check-ups and daily care at home form the foundation of looking after your teeth. During your appointment, we assess your teeth and gums and discuss the next steps based on the findings.

Care also includes advice on brushing techniques and using interdental cleaning aids. Recommendations are tailored to your needs and the condition of your teeth and gums.

Dental hygiene

Dental hygiene complements your regular care for teeth and gums. The dental hygienist professionally removes plaque, tartar and staining according to your individual needs.

During your appointment, the hygienist will discuss home care, suitable cleaning aids and brushing techniques with you. The aim is to help you understand how to care for your teeth between visits.

Fillings

If a tooth is damaged by decay or a minor injury, a filling may be an appropriate solution. The treatment method and material are selected according to the extent of the damage, the position of the tooth and other relevant factors.

We will discuss the recommended approach with you before treatment. Current coverage options and any costs will be explained according to the proposed care.

Rubber dam

For suitable procedures, we use an isolation sheet known as a rubber dam. It helps separate the tooth being treated from its surroundings and keeps the working area clear and dry.

Root canal treatment

Endodontic treatment concerns the inside of a tooth and its root canals. Your dentist may recommend it based on the examination and the condition of the dental pulp.

Treatment involves cleaning, disinfecting and filling the canals. The appropriate restoration of the tooth is then considered. We will explain the procedure and available options in relation to your individual findings.

Prosthodontics

Prosthodontic treatment helps restore damaged teeth or replace missing teeth. The plan is based on the condition of your teeth, available treatment options and your needs.

Crowns

A crown replaces or restores the damaged crown portion of a tooth. Your dentist will discuss suitable materials and how the crown is made. The available materials depend on the individual treatment plan.

Bridges

A bridge is one option for replacing one or more missing teeth. Its suitability depends, among other factors, on the condition of the surrounding teeth and the size of the gap. During consultation, we will discuss how the bridge is supported and the possible alternatives.

Removable dentures

If a removable denture is suitable, your dentist will explain the available designs and methods of retention. Complete and partial dentures are selected according to the condition of your teeth and other individual circumstances.

Options include different materials, retention components and combined solutions. We will discuss the specific options, maintenance, expected process and cost when preparing your treatment plan.

Oral surgery

We provide oral surgical care based on individual clinical findings. This includes tooth extractions and other procedures whose suitability is assessed by the dentist during examination.

Before a procedure, we will explain what it involves and the care needed afterwards. The extent of treatment and any follow-up steps are planned according to your individual situation.

Cosmetic dentistry

Cosmetic dentistry considers the appearance of teeth alongside their health and function. During consultation, we will discuss your wishes and the options suitable for your teeth.

Teeth whitening

Before whitening, we assess your teeth and the suitability of the proposed approach. We will explain the process, home care and the results that may be expected in your case. The specific whitening system and method will be discussed at the practice.

Dental veneers

Veneers may be one option for changing the shape or colour of front teeth. Options include direct composite veneers and indirect veneers made in a dental laboratory. Your dentist assesses suitability and the amount of tooth preparation required.

Closing gaps between teeth

For some gaps, reshaping teeth with composite material may be considered. Whether this approach is appropriate depends on your individual situation and examination findings.

Dental implants

Dental implants are one option for replacing missing teeth. Their suitability is determined by examination and assessment of your teeth and surrounding tissues.

During consultation, we will discuss available solutions, the stages of treatment and aftercare. The specific system, schedule and cost are determined according to the proposed treatment plan.
